HHM's Talent Code of Conduct requires all commercial models to maintain their appearance in alignment with current portfolio imagery and to notify the agency promptly of any relevant changes — including hair colour or length, skin conditions, injuries or sizing changes. Where a model's appearance changes in a way that may affect an upcoming booking, HHM communicates this to the client at the earliest opportunity. If continuity of look across multiple shoot days is critical to your production, raise this with the agency at the time of booking and it will be confirmed in the talent brief issued to the model.

Commercial models are expected to arrive on set groomed, styled and ready to work in accordance with the pre-assignment brief issued by the agency. For briefs requiring a specific hair colour, styling treatment or beauty preparation that falls outside the model's current look, or for any beauty treatment requested by the client outside the shoot window, these are treated as additional costs — charged to the client and agreed in advance. Briefs requiring more significant appearance changes — a new hair colour, removal of facial hair, temporary tattoos — will incur separately negotiated fees, as these changes affect the model's appearance beyond the shoot day and may impact other bookings. Any such request requires the model's agreement, and HHM will always discuss it with the talent before confirming availability to the client.

For recognisable commercial bookings where the client requires the talent not to work for competing brands or products, a bespoke exclusivity fee is negotiated at the time of booking. The scope — sector, territory, start and end date — is defined and confirmed in writing. It is the client's responsibility to check whether any conflicting agreements are already in place before confirming the booking, and HHM will confirm the exclusivity position for any specific talent on request. Where talent appears as unrecognisable in the final content, exclusivity is not applicable or enforceable under HHM's standard terms.

For productions based in and around London, HHM can often accommodate last-minute bookings and, in the event of a same-day cancellation by a confirmed model, will work immediately to identify and confirm a suitable replacement from the roster. The depth of the London-based talent pool makes this a realistic option in most circumstances, though it cannot be guaranteed in every case. For productions outside London — in Manchester, Birmingham or further afield — same-day replacement is more difficult to arrange, and the agency will always communicate honestly about what is feasible within the available timeframe. For any production where a specific model is critical to the creative, HHM recommends confirming a preferred alternative at the casting stage so that an approved replacement is already identified if needed.
