For standard commercial bookings, a female model is expected to arrive set-ready: groomed, hair styled and wearing her own makeup, prepared in accordance with the pre-assignment brief issued by the agency. The brief will specify the look required — whether that is natural and clean, a specific style, or full preparation for camera. Hair and makeup for the model's arrival is the model's own responsibility unless the brief specifies otherwise or the client has arranged a hair and makeup artist on set. HHM's Talent Code of Conduct requires all female models to arrive prepared as instructed — arriving unprepared is a breach of their professional obligations to the agency.

HHM's Talent Code of Conduct requires all female commercial models to notify the agency promptly of any change in their size or measurements — particularly where a specific size was requested or confirmed for a booking. For productions where accurate sizing is central to the brief, such as clothing, ecommerce or any shoot where client-supplied wardrobe needs to fit precisely, HHM recommends confirming the model's current measurements at the time of booking rather than relying solely on portfolio data. If a sizing change occurs between casting and shoot day and the agency has not been notified, this is a contractual breach — but HHM's active management of this obligation means clients are alerted to any relevant change as early as possible.

Continuity of appearance is managed through a combination of contractual obligation and proactive communication. HHM's Talent Code of Conduct requires female models to maintain their appearance in alignment with current portfolio imagery and to notify the agency immediately of any change — hair colour or length, skin condition, sizing — that may affect a confirmed or upcoming booking. For multi-day productions where a consistent look is essential, the agency recommends confirming specific appearance requirements in the brief issued to the model before the first shoot day. Any continuity requirements — matching hair styling, makeup references, wardrobe — should be raised with the agency at booking stage so they are addressed directly in the talent brief.

Any client request for a model to undergo a hair colour change, styling treatment or beauty preparation outside the shoot window is treated as an additional cost — a time fee applies for the model's attendance, plus the cost of the treatment itself, both confirmed in advance. For treatments with a lasting effect — a new hair colour or cut that will affect the model's appearance for subsequent bookings — additional fees are negotiated separately, as these changes have a broader professional impact on the model's availability for other work. HHM will always discuss any such request with the model before presenting it to the client as an option, and will not arrange any semi-permanent or appearance-altering treatment without the model's prior written consent.
